Every Frame Counts!

Animations and Shorts

Here, a selection of my work so far can be found, this varies from different kind of animated pieces, to rough cuts and test sequences. More will be added here periodically, so check back often!

The Gingerbread Man which was produced as part of my dissertation. A modern retelling of the classic fairy tale.

An alternate opening sequence to ‘Avengers Assemble’ as part of a motion graphics project.

This is the first animation I have collaborated with others on, and I was very pleased with the end result. We all worked on an individual scene each, and were assigned an additional role as well, mine being Storyboard Artist, an aspect of Pre Production I am greatly interested in.

This was my first stop motion animation, and found it to be quite enjoyable despite the great deal of perseverance needed. I would like to try making another at some point to see how I can improve.

I made this very quickly and was more a test on how well I could create something from scratch. As this is just a practice the quality of the drawings are fairly low, but it is clear to the viewer what is happening.

This is the oldest work on my blog and was made while I was in sixth form. It tells the story of a man who is dealing with becoming a murderer.

A test sequence for a CGI character picking up an object.

Another test sequence for a Tennis Match, a group project in which each person worked on their own character.
